Finite Element Simulation of Tensile Test Using MATLAB and ABAQUS Interactively
Our manuscript titled "The Use of Genetic Algorithm and Neural Network to Predict Rate-dependent Tensile Flow Behaviour of AA5182-O Sheets" is accepted for publication in journal of Materials and Design (current impact factor is 3.501)
I have published the first demo of my codes on Youtube;
micro-strain measurement using MATLAB Image Analysis toolbox.
The GA-ANN manuscript is submitted to Journal of Materials and Design
Using ABAQUS scripting, I was able to run MATLAB and ABAQUS interactively.
I am currently working on implementing AA5182-O constitutive behaviour to simulate EHF process as well as continuing my studies on material aspect of formability improvement.
I was awarded
Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS)
for 2015-2016.
I have finished working on AA5182 constitutive equation and submitted its manuscript for peer review.
I have submitted our EHF experimental abstract for MS&T 2015 conference.
Our DMM paper is published in International Journal of Mechanical Sciences.
About Me
I am a Product Development Engineer in
Westhill Innnovation Inc.
Simcoe, ON. Westhill Innovation specializes in designing and manufacturing metal-skinned laminates for the transportation and construction industries. Our patented technology and manufacturing process is dedicated to the use of recycled materials and we offer lightweight, durable, and cost-effective product performance features.
I also am a PhD candidate in
Mechanical, Automotive, and Materials Engineering Department
of
University of Windsor
, Windsor, ON, Canada. My main supervisors are
Dr. Daniel E. Green
and
Prof. Ahmet T. Alpas
from Univesity of Windsor. Currently, I am working in CanmetMATERIALS, Hamilton, ON under Dr. Kevin P. Boyle supervision.
My research is focused on formability improvement of 5xxx-series aluminum under high strain rate deformation in
Electro-Hydraulic Forming
(EHF) process. For more information about our research group and partners, take a look at

I received my M.Sc. degree from
Materials Science and Engineering Department
,
Sharif University of Technology
, Tehran, Iran. I was working on warm and hot workability of AA7075 under
Prof. Ali Karimi Taheri
supervision. Based on my research, we have published four international
journal papers
.
I got my B.Sc. degree in metallurgical engineering field from Materials Engineering Department of
Islamic Azad Univesity, Science and Reseach Branch of Tehran
.
