As a responsible person,

I am to live to positively influence the world…

After finishing my high school program, I decided to study materials science at Sharif University of Technology, the best technologically academic environment in Iran, where it is too hard to get good grades, the mission that I accomplished successfully, aiming to gain the knowledge of physical essence of materials and how they influence human’s life. During the bachelor course I had the opportunity to learn about various materials analytical techniques (such as Microscopy, Phase Analysis, Thermal Analysis and so forth), which empowered me to successfully accomplish my masters’ thesis on “Nano-hydroxyapatite and Carbon nano-tube composite Coating on 316L Stainless Steel derived by Sol-Gel Method” under supervision of Prof. A. Nemati and Dr. Ing. Z. Sadeghian at the same university.

Outside the university;

Interlocking the academic education with the real life…

Although academic programs may lead a cloistered life, I have always been engaged in interlocking the academic education with the real life outside the university. For an example, I focused on: “designing the refractory lines and refractory materials selection for a copper anode smelting flame furnace”, at Fanavarane Behgozin Co. and some justification plan developments at SAITech Co,. As the most recent activities in Metals and Materials Co., I was involved in the project of “Feasibility study on Khatoon Abad Copper Smelter plant’s expansion, a project that’s basic engineering has been conducted by Outotech® Co. through which a feasibility study has been assessed economic viability of the proposed project. It was this project that led me to recognize the necessity of providing in-depth details about the business to determine if and how it can succeed, and serve as a valuable tool for developing a winning business plan.  The other project I was involved in Metals and Materials Co. was “feasibility study on Golgohar Ferrochrome plant in Sohar, Oman”. Basic engineering of this project has been also conducted by Outotech® Co,.

Environmental activities;

Feeling responsibility towards natural resources and to rescue world from a serious environmental and energy crisis…

As one of recent activities during last years I was involved in the project of “Well to Wheel analysis of different hydrogen production pathways to be used in fuel cell vehicles in Iran” conducted by Iranian Fuel Conservation Company (IFCO) through which FCVs and ICEs were compared in terms of economical and environmental impacts, concluding hydrogen can be an appropriate alternative for fossil fuels in Iran.  It was this project that led me to recognize the necessity of addressing new energy sources and the relevant challenges in countries with limited conventional energy resources. Iran is one of these countries; although it is so rich in terms of petroleum basins that its economy has been based on oil export revenue, this source of energy will serve this country at best for a few decades. This is a bare fact that Iranian policy makers have to think of substitute sources to meet the country’s energy demands.

As another interesting project in Metals and Materials Co. a thorough investigation on downstream industries of sulphuric acid has carried out which resulted in a proposal for mass production of phosphate fertilizers. This proposal has taken in account also problems such as loss of soil fertility and ground water pollution in Iran.

As a member of HarmonicaHome orchestra,

I found my way to live always happy…

I started to learn playing harmonica in HarmonicaHome from 2011. I was so eager to learn that after 6 months, I had this chance to become a member of HarmonicaHome’s orchestra which was newly established at that time. As a senior harmonica player, it was with great honour to enter a professional environment for the first time in my life and after successfully passing the entry exams.

The harmonica orchestra successfully received the credit of presence in 29th Fajr International Music Festival in 2014, Tehran. Another exciting performances I have experienced was the 3rd HarmonicaHome’s Festival, winter 2015 in which I had the chance to play harmonica in orchestra and solo.
