I grew up in Tehran, capital city of Iran. When I was a child I was always interested in how things work. I loved to put things together to make new toys for myself. My favorite toy was Legos. I was also very interested in cars and I have remained so to this day.
Right before I graduated high school, I decided that mechanical engineering would be the major suited to my taste so I embarked on the most demanding challenge of my life up to that point: studying hard to be admitted to Sharif University of Technology-the most prestigious higher education institute in the country. Finally my endeavors paid off and I was accepted. (You can find more about my academic background in "Resume" section.)
I began learning English when I was seven. I received the "First
Certificate in English" from University of Cambridge with a grade A
in 2006. One year later, I began teaching English at one the most
respected language institutes (www.gosafir.com)
which continues today. I took TOEFL iBT and GRE exams in 2010 which
turned out the following results:
TOEFL iBT: 117
GRE: Verbal-530 Quantitive-800 Writing-3.5
I graduated in 2011 with a B.Sc. degree. Towards the end of my studies, I focused my efforts on computational fluids dynamics (CFD) and I'm still working in this field.
My hobbies include: Mountaineering, reading, driving, watching movies, playing basketball and jogging. I also love to travel.
