Abstract:
One of the main problems of minimally invasive robotic
surgery is the injury caused to the incision point of
abdominal wall via undesirable moments applied by the
mechanism with constant pivot point. The present invention
provides a surgical robot with the ability of adjusting its
spatial pivot point vertically, to eliminate those
undesirable moments.
