PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

• Shafaf Co. Inventory planning  Jan2010-

  Shafaf Co produces kitchen tools and Teflon and steel cookware.

  My responsibility: Material Requirement Planning and Scheduling the operations and ordering strategies. 

  I have also been working on a project for finding the optimized locations for storages in other cities using mathematical modeling.

   

• Research Institute of Petroleum Industry, Tehran , Iran   Market Analyzer Feb- 2009

  The Energy groups of this innovative center Proposes strategies to the Oil and Gas Ministry for reducing the waste of energy on large scale. Energy section mostly dealt with Finding solutions for problems in oil companies for saving energy on large scale.
  As a market Analyzer, I performed Market Research on grand firms working on energy saving issues. Task included: Identifying the market, Analyzing the current trends and situations, Realizing the firm’s current position in the market, Determining our strengths and weaknesses in the market, Proposing strategies which are in accordance with the corporation strategies, mission and vision. The job required strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, Interpersonal and presentation skills, Being Computer savvy. I reported to the head of Energy section in the institution.

   

•  Shaygan Ertebatat Tehran , Iran  logistics Expert. September 2007-Dec 2007

  Shayegan Ertebatat Nemooneh is a growing firm in the production, Assembly & maintenance of different kinds of smart card/ coin-card/ GSM payphones and multimedia kiosks and ticket dispenser for queuing systems. Main responsibilities: Working with audits to make the company ready to get the ISO 9001 certificate. Rethinking of all the procedures and making sweeping changes in the company. Planning Orders (Timing, Size) for purchasing parts from our partner in China to make sure the inventory cost are minimized and contract requirements are met in time and minimized penalty for tardiness.
  My HR responsibilities were:  Developing a job breakdown in accordance with the firm strategies and programs, for the task in the office. Developing a job description, Developing reporting procedures, Developing a Performance measurement and Job evaluation for the employees in my office and reporting it to the CEO. I had about 7 people working in my office. This job required strong interpersonal skills and fluency in English language, and working under pressure because of meeting strict deadlines.
