Short Biography
Vahid Esmaeelzadeh was born in 1983, Iran. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran, in 2006 and Sharif University of Technology (SUT), Tehran, Iran, in 2008, respectively. Most recently, he received his Ph.D. degree in computer networks from Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran, Iran, in May 2015. During his Ph.D. studies in 2012, he spent six months as a visiting researcher at Next-generation and Wireless Communications Laboratory (NWCL), Koc University, Istanbul, Turkey. He usually fills his spare time with calligraphy and painting.

- Modeling of transport protocols in CRNs and CRSNs based on Queuing theory and Network Calculus
- QoS provisioning in CRNs and CRSNs
- MAC and Transport protocols design in wireless networks
