Short Biography

Text Box: Ramin Amirifar was born in Iran, in 1970. He received the B.S. degree from the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, in 1993, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1996 and 2004, respectively, all in electrical engineering. During 1999-2001, he taught in the Electrical Engineering Department, Sharif University of Technology. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. His current research interests include multiobjective control, linear matrix inequalities, decentralized control, robust control, order reduction, active suspension systems, and magnetic bearings.
