Bio:
I was born in 1989 in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari but originally I'm from Kashan and I was raised there. I got my bachelor degree from University of Kashan in applied chemistry and my B.Sc. thesis was about “synthesis of some new Schiff Bases with sulfur compounds”. I earned a M.Sc. in analytical chemistry from Sharif University of Technology and my M.Sc. thesis was about “preparation and application of carbon nanotube-polypyrrole modified electrode in electrochemical determination of mesalazine” and also did some researches in synthesis of graphene & graphene oxide, decoration of silver nanoparticles on carbon nanofibers and its application in biological sensors, synthesis of Tributhylphosphate. Also I have some great job experiences (official and part-time) at Arian Shimi Company, purification of engine oil and converting acidic waste to pitch project, Teaching chemistry for high school students, taking part in International Chemistry Olympiad, Sepehr Afrooz Shimi Company (an electroplating company), and last but not least Padide Shimi Gharb Co. as R&D supervisor. Now I am working as a researcher in a battery Lab and I’m studying on lithium titanium oxide material as anodic material for use in batteries.
In the last couple of years, I have developed a great interest to follow advanced research in electrochemical methods and nanomaterial and I have some research experiences in the application of them. Also I am absolutely interested in energy filed especially batteries field. In my spare time I am a big fan of playing music, poetry and philosophy books, movies and hiking. |
Fields of interest:
* Electrochemistry
* Electroanalytical Chemistry
* Synthesis of new materials
* Nanomaterial
* Li-ion Battery specially anodic material
* Analytical Chemistry
* Development of new method |
Although it seems like a joke, there is a true relationship between my life and Sulfur!
As a child, I used to help my grandfather in his farm and we were using yellow Sulfur! powder for fertilization and other purposes. After some years when I went to University of Kashan I faced with Sulfur! again in my B.Sc. thesis that was about “synthesis of some new Schiff Bases with Sulfur compounds” and then when I joined my research group at Sharif University of Technology in my M.Sc. thesis I used some molecules with Sulfonate functional group as a dopant. It’s unbelievable that I faced with Sulfonation! two times in my job experiences, first time at Arian Shimi Company, purification of engine oil (Solfunation waste engine oil with oleum) and second time at Padide Shimi Gharb Co., one of the sub groups of Golrang Co. in a big professional industrial Solfunation plan (Ballestra) in which we produced anionic surfactant by Sulfonate groups such as linear alkyl benzene Sulfonic acid (LABS) and sodium lauryl etherSulfate (SLES). Also at a project (Onyx company) in which we were recovering gold from gold electroplating wastes we were using sodium metabiSulfite for that. In the end now I am a researcher in a battery Lab and I’m studying on lithium titanium oxide material as anodic material for use in Sulfur batteries!
