Hello, I’m Ali,
Creative Technologist & Mechanical engineer in Tehran, I discover science and make it practical to make world a better place.
I recently finished my MSc thesis with excellent score from Sharif University of Technology. My MSc thesis was about "Wind turbine power control and protection in switching" in which I’ve designed new robust and nonlinear controllers and introduced “Smooth switching strategy” to increase system performance and life. I have an under review and another with-editor papers about it.
I have got my BSc from SUT too. In my BSc project, I have proposed a new mechanism for a one-leg robot which bounces and somersaults in the air. The BSc thesis was admired by examiners with full score. I have submitted a journal paper about it with another student in IEEE Transactions on Robotics.
Discovering and learning new aspects of engineering and technology is so exciting to me that encourages me to pursue higher education, I enjoy all new techs but my best interests are in the areas of Mechatronics, Control, Automotive, Biomechanics and System Dynamics,

Vacuum Frying Machine
Design and build a prototype of a system that fries food in a vacuum chamber. This helps to have healthier and cheaper products due to frying in lower temp and avoid oil oxidation.
Pedometer
Design and prototyping a pedometer. The module calculates and shows the path traveled by the person using an accelerometer and comparing with specific walking patterns.
Wind Turbine Power Control (MSc. Thesis)
MIMO Power control of variable-speed, variable-pitch wind turbine using different control methods like H∞-feedback linearization hybrid controller, Sliding mode, Backstepping and PI-Neural Network hybrid controller. The control is with the aim of power optimization and protection of the structure. In addition to new control methods, an original strategy is introduced to protect the turbine from controller switching law in different functional regions, named "Smooth Transition"
Internship in Iran Process Co.
Experiences with Maintenance and Production of engineering parts like flanges, connections and chambers through manufacturing processes like machining, milling, welding, turning, etc.
Somerset Robot
Design and simulations of a one-leg robot which is actively controlled by two angular and linear actuators. The feedback linearization controller properly makes this complex dynamic stable and tracks a trajectory to somerset or jump.
Tehran Wagon Production Internship
A summer internship in R&D section of Tehran Wagon Production. This company designs and assembles wagons for subway lines.
Exhaust and Muffler System Optimization
In this project a truck's exhaust system optimized for noise and engine back-pressure. The optimization is performed through CFD methods.
