 EDUCATION

2012-2014, Master of Science in Structural Engineering, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, GPA: 17.27 / 20. (3.59 / 4.00) based on WES. Last two semesters 18.12 / 20 (4/4).

Thesis Topic: Seismic behavior of  connections in cold-formed steel moment frames / Supervisor : Dr. Mohammad Tagi Kazemi

·         In this study, the behavior of a CFS beam-column moment connection, consists of two back to back channel sections with curved flanges, using a plate passing through the column was investigated. Moreover, a parametric study was performed in order to assess the influence of the thickness of the through plate on overall performance of the connection. Finite element method was used for modeling the connection. Finally a model was designed to evaluate the effect of slip-bearing action in bolts on overall performance and ductility of the connection under cyclic loading.

2008-2012 Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Guilan University, Guilan, Iran GPA: 17.39 / 20.0 (3.78 / 4.00) based on WES Last two years of B.Sc. GPA: 18.15/20 Top Student (3.88 / 4.00) based on WES
