About Me


I am a Product Development Engineer in Westhill Innnovation Inc.Simcoe, ON. Westhill Innovation specializes in designing and manufacturing metal-skinned laminates for the transportation and construction industries. Our patented technology and manufacturing process is dedicated to the use of recycled materials and we offer lightweight, durable, and cost-effective product performance features.
I also am a PhD candidate in Mechanical, Automotive, and Materials Engineering Department of University of Windsor, Windsor, ON, Canada. My main supervisors are Dr. Daniel E. Green and Prof. Ahmet T. Alpas from Univesity of Windsor. Currently, I am working in CanmetMATERIALS, Hamilton, ON under Dr. Kevin P. Boyle supervision.
My research is focused on formability improvement of 5xxx-series aluminum under high strain rate deformation in Electro-Hydraulic Forming (EHF) process. For more information about our research group and partners, take a look at APC-EHF website.


I received my M.Sc. degree from Materials Science and Engineering Department, Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. I was working on warm and hot workability of AA7075 under Prof. Ali Karimi Taheri supervision. Based on my research, we have published four international journal papers.
I got my B.Sc. degree in metallurgical engineering field from Materials Engineering Department of Islamic Azad Univesity, Science and Reseach Branch of Tehran.
