3.      A Conveyor assembly to expedite concreting

  1. Design and supervising the fabrication of conveyor belts for transporting concrete in Seymareh Dam, Ilam, west of Iran, Perlite Construction Company, 2005, 2006. The conveyor belt (42, meter length) was connected to a Manitowoc Crane with a 2DOF mechanism. The two conveyors (topbelt) were connected to each other by means of a middle swing (Swing2). Swing2 provided the possibility of a 2, DOF motion and controlled rotational angle of conveyor2. The conveyors assembly was connected to the crane by Swing1 which provided 1, DOF motion. Topbelt was suspended from two hooks which had been controlled separately.

Using a conveyor assembly (topbelt) attached to a lattice boom crane for transporting concrete, was the first of its kind.
