A highly motivated structural engineer with an MSc. in Structural Engineering and 4 years of combined experience in structural design, engineering research, and construction management. I have worked on various commercial and residential projects in the capacity of a structural engineer in the field as well as with a design team. Working for a small/mid-sized firm, I have experience with varied aspects and accustomed to various responsibilities of a structural engineer. I have been involved in design, documentation, construction inquiry response and observation of multiple projects. I have also been a part of the team responsible for building new structural assessment tools for use in after-disaster programs, PHMSIS, supported by the Department of Civil Engineering at Sharif University of Technology.

Interests

I am currently working on a health monitoring project called PHMSIS (Probabilistic Health Monitoring of Structures and Infrastructures Systems) at Sharif University of Science and Technology under supervisory of Prof. Bakhshi. PHMSIS consists of 4 major parts, Image Processing, Frequency Analysis, Health Monitoring and Risk Assessment, leading to evaluation of post-earthquake structural safety. Please visit our website for further information.
